Personalised Eucalyptus Wedding Invitations: Day, Evening and What Goes On Them

The invitation is the first physical thing your guests hold that has anything to do with your wedding. It lands on a doormat long before anyone sees the venue, chooses the flowers or tastes the cake, and it quietly sets the expectation for the whole day.
Our eucalyptus range is the design couples ask for most when they want that first impression to feel soft and green rather than formal and white. Watercolour greenery, clean modern type, a fine gold border. It sits happily with a barn, a country house, a registry office or a marquee. Here is what is in the range, what it costs, what we need from you, and two things worth knowing before you order.

What you are actually getting
The day invitation and the evening invitation share the same specification. A5 portrait, roughly 148mm by 210mm, printed on one side, on 300gsm Gesso card.
Gesso is a textured stock rather than a smooth one. You can feel the grain under your thumb and there is real weight to it, so the card does not flop in the hand. We supply them unlaminated on purpose. A laminate would flatten that texture and add a slight sheen, which rather defeats the point of choosing Gesso in the first place.

The day invitation
This is the full one. Ceremony, venue, times, RSVP, everything a guest needs to plan a whole day around you. Packs start at £27 for ten.
The listing describes it as suitable for day or evening use, so if you are having a smaller wedding with no separate evening sitting, this single design covers you. Envelopes for this one are listed separately. You can see it on the eucalyptus wedding invitation page.
The evening invitation
Same design, same card, worded for the people joining you after the ceremony. Reception time, venue, RSVP details. Packs also start at £27 for ten, and a plain white envelope comes with each invitation, which is one less thing to go and source.
Couples who order both usually post them together, so everyone on the list receives the same look and the wording does the work of separating day guests from evening ones. The evening invitation is set up for exactly that.

How the pack pricing works
Invitations are sold by the pack, and the cost per invitation falls as the pack grows:
10 for £27, which is £2.70 each
50 for £59, which is £1.18 each
100 for £94, which is 94p each
250 for £171, a little under 69p each
Sizes in between exist too (20, 30, 40, 60, 70, 80, 90, 125, 150, 175 and 200), so you can land close to your real guest list rather than rounding up by fifty.
One practical note. Count households, not heads. A couple at one address needs one invitation between them, which usually cuts the number people first estimate by a decent margin. Then add a small handful of spares, because one will get lost in the post, one will get a glass of wine spilled on it, and one deserves to go in the scrapbook.
What we need from you
There are four fields on the product page. They are worth filling in properly, because what you type is what we set.
Couples' names, spelled and styled exactly as you want them printed
Wedding details, meaning the date, venue name, venue address, ceremony time if there is one, RSVP date and RSVP contact details
Invitation wording, the introducing line, for example "would be delighted to invite you to their wedding on"
Additional information, anything else you want on there, such as dress code, parking, gift wording or a wedding website
You can use the sample wording from the listing or write your own. We arrange your details inside the design so the spacing stays balanced, rather than forcing a long venue address into a line that was never built for it.
Two honest notes before you order
First, the gold border is a printed gold effect colour, not metallic foil. It suits the design and it photographs well, but if you want genuine foil somewhere in your stationery, that is our foiled range rather than this one.
Second, personalised items cannot be returned because you have changed your mind. That is precisely why we proof everything first. Nothing goes to print until you have seen your names, your date and your venue laid out in the design and told us it is right. Read that proof slowly. Check the venue spelling, check the RSVP date against your caterer's deadline, and get a second pair of eyes on it. A mistake caught in a proof costs nothing. A mistake caught on 100 printed invitations costs a reprint.
Made to order in Hessle
We are Lee and Sam, a husband and wife studio working out of Hessle, HU13. Nothing here sits in a warehouse waiting for an order. Your invitations are set, proofed and printed for you, which is why the proof stage exists and why we would rather you spent an extra day on it than rushed it through.
Order in good time as well. Stationery is the one part of a wedding with a deadline attached to somebody else's diary, because guests need long enough to book time off, sort childcare and arrange travel before they can give you a straight answer.

Matching the rest of the day
The eucalyptus design runs through more than the invitations, which helps if you want the paper side of the wedding to look like it all came from the same place.
Wedding favour scratch cards in the eucalyptus design, 60p each, one at every place setting
Bridesmaid proposal cards in a matching eucalyptus design, £5.50
Foiled reveal tickets, £10, if you do want real foil in the day somewhere
Wedding and engagement prints from £8, for the wall once the day is over
Where to start
Order the day invitation first, add the evening version if you are having a second sitting, and we will proof them together so the wording lines up between the two. The full range sits in wedding invitations.
