Personalised Graduation Prints: A Keepsake for the Class of 2026

A graduation is one of those days that's over almost as soon as it starts. The gown goes back, the photos get buried in a camera roll, and a few years of hard work end with a handshake and a cup of lukewarm tea. We're Duffy's Creations, a husband and wife studio in Hessle, and we make personalised graduation prints to order, so the name, the university and the qualification can sit on a wall long after the day itself.

Here are a few ideas for the Class of 2026, whether you're marking your own degree or buying for someone who's just finished theirs. Every print is made by hand, and we send you a proof to check before anything goes to print. 1. The classic mortarboard print

Our most popular graduation design arranges the degree details into the shape of a mortarboard, the cap that gets thrown in the air at the end of the ceremony. The mortarboard graduation print is personalised with the graduate's name, their university or college, the qualification and the year, so all the words that matter are built into the shape itself. It starts at £10 for an A5 print, and framed versions start at £15.

2. A print shaped like the graduate

If you'd rather the design looked like the person than the hat, we make two figure designs where the words form the outline of a graduate in cap and gown. There's a he/him version and a she/her version, each personalised with the same degree details. Both start at £10 for an A5 print or £15 framed, and they make a nice pair if two people in the same family are graduating in the same year.

3. A foiled print for something a bit special

For a graduation gift with a bit more shine, our foiled graduation print presses real metallic foil onto the card rather than printing the colour. You pick the card colour (white, black or navy) and the foil, and there are more than thirty foil shades, from classic gold and silver to rose-gold holographic. It's personalised with the graduate's name, university or college, qualification, year and graduation date. Prices start at £12 for an A5 print and £17 framed. 4. Sizing it for the wall

All the graduation prints come in A5, A4 and A3, so you can keep it small for a desk or a shelf, or size it up if it's going on a wall. Framed versions come in black, white or grey, and you can add a mount if you'd like the design to sit inside a border. The frames are solid wood, made here in the UK, and the front is 1.2mm acrylic rather than glass, so it's lighter to post and safer if it ever gets knocked. A framed A3 with a mount is the largest option at £31.

5. Getting the details right

A graduation print lives or dies on the details, so it's worth having them to hand before you order. We ask for the graduate's name, the university or college, the qualification (the full wording, like BSc Nursing or BA History) and the year. The foiled version also takes the exact graduation date. Send it all over and we set the artwork out and email you a proof, and nothing prints until you've checked every word. That step matters, because a qualification spelled the way the university writes it is the sort of thing worth getting exactly right.

6. Buying it as a gift

If you're buying for someone else, a graduation print works as a gift that isn't flowers or another bottle of prosecco. It sits well next to the framed photo from the day, and it's the kind of thing that tends to stay up. How we make them

Every print is made to order in our studio in Hessle (HU13). You send us the details, we lay the artwork out, and we send a proof for you to approve before anything is printed. Because each print is personalised, it's made just for you and can't be returned for a change of mind, so the proof is your moment to check the name, the qualification and the year all read correctly.

A quick practical note. Since every print is made to order and proofed first, it's worth ordering with a few days to spare rather than the night before the ceremony, especially if you want it framed and posted in time.
