Personalised Kitchen Prints: Coffee Stations, Cocktails and Where to Hang Them

The kitchen is the room everyone ends up standing in, and it is almost always the last wall anyone gets round to decorating. There is a kettle, a bit of tile, a calendar from 2023, and then a gap. Our Home Decor range is small on purpose, three designs built for exactly that gap, all starting at £10 for a print. We make them to order in our studio in Hessle, and we send a proof before anything goes near the printer, so you can see the wording sitting on the design before you commit to it.

Four prints for the kitchen wall

1. The coffee station print, with a name on every drink

The Coffee Station Print is a set of illustrated coffee drinks, and the personalisation is the good bit: you tell us which name goes against which drink. If your house is one flat white, one builder's tea in a coffee mug and one hot chocolate with too many marshmallows, that is the print. It works over a coffee machine, a kettle, or the shelf where the mugs live.

It is £10 as an A5 print on its own, or £14 framed in black or white at A5. Write the names in the personalisation box at checkout exactly as you want them to read, and we will send the proof back for you to check.

2. Time for Coffee, for people who do not want a name on the wall

Not everyone wants their family's names on display in the kitchen, and that is fine. Time for Coffee is the same subject handled as an illustration, a run of different coffees laid out as a design. It reads as artwork first and a coffee joke second, which makes it easier to live with in a kitchen that already has a lot going on.

Same price as the coffee station design, £10 for an A5 print. There is still a personalisation box on the product page if you want a name or a short line adding, and it is optional rather than required.

3. Time for Cocktail, for the corner where the gin lives

Time for Cocktail does the same job for the evening end of the kitchen. Illustrated cocktails, laid out the same way, sized to sit above a drinks trolley, a shelf of glasses or the bit of worktop that has quietly become the home bar.

The pairing is the reason we mention these two together. Time for Coffee and Time for Cocktail hung side by side give you a morning print and an evening print, matched in style, in matching frames, for £20 as a pair of A5 prints or £28 framed. It is the cheapest way we know to make a kitchen wall look like someone planned it.

4. The coffee and WiFi print, the one that earns its place

Slightly outside the Home Decor range but squarely a kitchen print, the Coffee and WiFi print puts your network name and password on the wall with a scannable code, wrapped in a coffee design. The kitchen is where guests stand while the kettle boils, which makes it the right room for it. It starts at £7 as an email PDF you print yourself, £10 as an A5 print from us, or £14 framed at A5.

We wrote a longer piece on those if you want the detail: personalised WiFi prints and how people actually use them.

Hanging them: one, a pair or a trio

A single A4 above a worktop is the safe choice and it works. If you have more wall than that, a few things we have learned from customers sending photos back:

  • A pair of A5s in matching frames, hung close together, looks more considered than one lonely A4. Keep the gap between the frames tighter than you think, around the width of your hand.

  • A trio works best when the middle one is the personalised design and the two outer ones are the illustrated ones. The eye lands in the middle, which is where the names are.

  • Above a kettle or hob, hang higher than eye level. Anything sitting directly over a kettle spout is going to have a hard life.

Sizes, frames and prices, in full

All three Home Decor designs share the same ladder, so you can mix designs without doing sums:

  • A5: £10 print only, £14 framed in black or white, £15 in grey.

  • A4: £13 print only, £18 framed in black or white, £19 in grey. A mount adds £2.

  • A3: £15 print only, £27 framed in black or white, £28 in grey. A mount adds £2.

Our frames are solid wood, made in the UK, and they come in black, white or grey. That is the full list, we do not do oak or gold. The front of the frame is 1.2mm acrylic, not glass. In a kitchen, with children and hard floors and the occasional cupboard door swung open too fast, that is worth knowing.

How we make them

Duffy's Creations is Lee and Sam, working out of a studio in Hessle, HU13. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for an order. We set the design up with your wording, send a proof by email, and only print once you have said yes. If a name is spelled two ways in your family, the proof stage is where that gets sorted.

The honest bits

Because these are made for you, personalised items are not returnable for a change of mind. If something arrives faulty or wrong against the proof you approved, that is on us and we will fix it, but we cannot take back a print with your names on it because the colour was not quite what you pictured.

We are also not going to invent a delivery date in a blog post. Turnaround depends on the proof coming back approved and on what else is in the studio that week, so if a print is a gift for a specific day, order with room to spare.

Where to start

The three designs live in the Home Decor collection, and all three sit in Best Sellers as well. If you are buying for someone else's kitchen rather than your own, the New Home collection is the better starting point, and our guides to new home gift ideas and personalised family name prints for the hallway cover the rest of the house.

Pick a design, tell us the names, and we will send the proof over before anything is printed.
